Going, Going, GONE! Where some collections end up...

Have you ever wondered where all those toy trucks produced in the last 20 or 30 years ended up? There are hundreds of thousands of die-cast trucks that became pieces of cherished collections from coast to coast. It may be a reality check for some, but in life, "stuff happens." Over the past few years I have seen many different scenarios where collectors gave up collecting for one reason or another. Some just got tired of the high prices and quit, others ran out of room and wanted to downsize. Sadly, there have been quite a few cases of jobs lost where collections had to be sold to pay living expenses. I have also seen a number of collectors who have died leaving their spouses to deal with their collections. Then some just get bored or overwhelmed with it all and want to move on to something else.
