Christmas on the farm is a special day, even for the animals. Pearl and Butler, the sheep, woke up to a fresh blanket of snow ever their shed. Pearl strolled out to nibble on some snowy hay while she waited for the farmer to feed them some grain. Surely there would be an extra scoop on Christmas morning. The barn cats caught the scent of the cooking coming from the farmhouse. They wandered over to the back porch, hoping for some Christmas fixin' scraps. The barn mice took advantage of the cats' absence. One critter hopped over to the silo for a special menu, forgetting that Ole Ragweed, the fox, was lurking around to catch his own special meal, while a pair of pigeons watched the goings-on from atop the silo.
