With the new Liebherr LTR 1220 telescopic crawler crane, Conrad went into new directions with features and details. Functionality and details abound in this second telescopic crawler crane from Conrad. All dimensions of this 220-tonne crawler crane were correctly transferred, and a detailed manual will guide you through the uncomplicated assembly. The real crane can assemble itself and doesn’t need an auxiliary crane, which saves money and time. All steps can be visualized on the model as well. Some of the photos were taken on the Bochum Tippelsberg, which is 150 meters above sea level and is one of the highest points in my hometown. It was built with the excavated material from the Bochum underground line. The most visible new features on the Liebherr LTR 1220 are the all-new metal pins. Instead of typical plastic pins, Conrad used metal ones for all connections. Assembly was simple, and the pins have a perfect fit without being loose. |
