Building models with precision detail is Gene Gregory’s trademark. Gregory’s hankering for his craft began years ago when he restored antique tractors.
Although Gene and Doris Gregory live in the fertile farmland of northeastern Ohio, Gene has no agricultural connections. Yet, Gene was drawn to the mechanics of farm machinery.
“Around our community of Loudonville, the soil is rich, so there’s lots of farming. From a young age, I’ve been fascinated with the equipment used for farming. Years ago, I developed a side interest restoring antique tractors. It was popular back then. That hobby soon got expensive and awkward taking tractors to shows, so I lost interest,” Gene explained.
