WSI Models presented the first sample of the all-new LTM 1090-4.2 AT crane model at the 2019 Toy Fair and at Bauma 2019. WSI did an amazing job with this new model. Functionality and details are superior and do not miss anything. The review model arrived safely in its box without missing parts, defects or damages. All dimensions of the real crane were transferred correctly into the 1/50 scale. Carrier width, overall model length or outrigger base match the real dimensions exactly. The four-axle crane carrier The crane is running on a four-axle chassis, easily moving on any surface. The drivetrain is copied accurately, with the crankshaft underneath. All axles are steering, with an amazing steering angle of the model. And even the dirt protections along the entire carrier on both sides are copied well. A real eye-catcher is the different silhouette of the crane, as the outriggers are not on both ends of the chassis; the front outriggers are located between the second and third axle! Thanks to this new design, the real LTM 1090-4.2 is the only 90-metric-ton crane with four axles able to travel with less than a 10-tonne axle load! The massive four two-stage outriggers keep the model stable, even with fully extended boom and without the tires touching the ground! All feature white-and-red warning signs. And, WSI even copied the outrigger numbers one to four on each outrigger! Little crane mats complete the set of details here. Want to read the story?
