Jesse Sax is dirt movin’ collector

Jesse Sax, of Marshallville, Ohio, is a complex scale model collector. He has a farm toy collection that many collectors might envy, but his greatest love is collecting earth-moving equipment. In fact, his email address reflects his love—[email protected].
Sax’s fascination with machinery began as a young boy.
“Growing up in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, I was a city boy, so I was a long way from farming life. In the city, houses are grown like crops on a farm, and I used to watch houses get put up all around me. Every day when I got home from school, I could literally hear the rumble and the backup beepers of heavy equipment, as the machines went about their work,” he said.
