“In the 1980s, my cousin hauled me to a farm toy show. I did not realize there were so many different toys, both farm and industrial. I couldn’t resist, so I bought a few pieces. That was the beginning of my collecting,” Paul stated.
“After seeing all the toys at the show, I reflected on my days as a farm kid. I set up a farming operation under a big apple tree surrounded by sand. My toys consisted of farm and construction equipment. To operate the farm, the dirt had to be moved around with the industrial equipment. My collection interest is rooted in those bygone years,” he continued.
